Vision & Mission

Reconciliation through Business and Economic Development.

Vision Statement:

TKG Group is a 100% First Nation–owned business development group built on unity, purpose, and a deep commitment to community. Guided by the leadership of six First Nations, our mission is to create meaningful partnerships, foster regional collaboration, and build sustainable enterprises that strengthen northern communities for generations to come.

Through strategic investments, bulk supply chain solutions, fuel and freight services, and economic alliances, TKG is actively reducing costs for communities, creating local jobs, and supporting long-term self-reliance. Profits are reinvested directly into the communities we serve — driving capacity building, economic development, and active participation in regional industries. At the heart of it all, TKG promotes and preserves First Nation cultural and traditional values, ensuring that economic growth always walks alongside identity, wellness, and future opportunity.

Mission Statement:

KG Group is a 100% First Nation–owned business development group based in Northwestern Ontario. Our mission is to create lasting economic opportunities, generate value for our ownership communities, and support a stronger, more self-sufficient North.

To achieve this mission, TKG:

  1. Develops, plans, and builds sustainable “legacy” businesses that support the long-term social and economic development goals of our shareholder First Nations.
  2. Creates opportunities for local training, employment, and capacity building — with a strong focus on empowering First Nation youth and future leaders.
  3. Operates with a skilled, motivated team and streamlined processes that allow us to respond quickly and effectively to emerging opportunities.
  4. Works to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery for a wide range of goods and services needed by our communities — including fuel, food, freight, and essential products.
  5. Builds strong partnerships and initiatives with other businesses, First Nations, Indigenous enterprises, and regional organizations committed to advancing First Nation prosperity.
